The Department of Theatre and Dance Studies at Wheaton will present William Shakespeare's MACBETH this Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, April 9, 10, and 11 and again next Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, April 16, 17, and 18. Weather permitting, all performances will begin promptly at 7:30 pm in front of Patrick Dougherty's TWISTED SISTERS Installation. The production will then proceed into Weber Theatre for the duration of the evening. Tickets may be reserved by calling the Watson Fine Arts Center Box Office at (508) 286-3575.
The alumnae association is sponsoring the Yvonne Yaw Lecture Series on March 8, 2009 (this coming Sunday) at 1:00 p.m. Yvonne Yaw herself on "How I Teach Shakespeare" at the House.
The fall 2008 play will be Two Gentlemen of Verona. Performances will be:
November 7 and 8 at 8:00 p.m.
November 9 at 2:00 p.m.
November 13 at 7:00 p.m.
November 14 and 15 at 8:00 p.m.
November 16 at 2:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m.
Traditions Tea will be Sunday, December 7 at 3pm. Sadly, I won't be able to make it as I will be in the middle of a show myself, but I hope that many of you will go!
This Saturday, June 7 is the annual meeting. Breakfast will be available starting at 8am and the meeting will commence at 8:30. Hope to see many of you there despite the early hour. Remember to bring a quote!

Shakespeare's Birthday will be celebrated this Sunday, April 20, 2008 at 1pm.
Mark your calendars... this fall's production will be Julius Caesar, directed by Anna Krohn '08. Performances will be November 8th through 18th. I will post specific times as soon as they are available. Hope to see you there!
