The alumnae association is sponsoring the Yvonne Yaw Lecture Series on March 8, 2009 (this coming Sunday) at 1:00 p.m. Yvonne Yaw herself on "How I Teach Shakespeare" at the House.
This Saturday, June 7 is the annual meeting. Breakfast will be available starting at 8am and the meeting will commence at 8:30. Hope to see many of you there despite the early hour. Remember to bring a quote!

At the annual meeting last Saturday, several alums asked about getting Shakespeare signet rings (i.e. the "President's" ring). You can get them from Anderson's in the ville (silver or gold). They are about $80, I believe.
Check out the "events" that are now visible in the right-hand navigation bar. Much Ado About Nothing, this semester's play, will be opening in a few weeks. Also, Jenni Lund, class of 1980, wanted to let people know that Stephen Greenblatt (author of Will in the World) will be speaking at Wheaton College, and their library will be celebrating this event with a Shakespeare exhibit.
